Thank you for your interest in Railcare Health! We are so excited that you would like to volunteer with us but before you can join our team, we need you to perform a few simple housekeeping tasks to get you trained and ready to go:
1. Read through our Operational Document linked below. It has all the information you need to know about what we expect of you as a volunteer, the regulations we must abide by as a free healthcare clinic, and more information about Railcare Health itself. (Don’t worry about filling any of the empty forms in this document -- those are just to give you a better idea of our protocol for certain actions.)
2. Complete the short quiz linked here and achieve a score of 10/12 or higher (it can be retaken if this isn’t done on the first try). https://goo.gl/forms/JrXxS4pXYtaa9zFp1 Then forward your “confirmation of completion” email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
3. Download, fill out, and email us the volunteer release form linked below.
Help us get to know you by filling out the interest form below!
Note: those who would like to volunteer at our free medical clinics will be required to attend a short clinical training, however this can be done immediately before the first clinic you volunteer at.
COVID-19 Note: All volunteers will be asked to fill out a possible COVID-19 exposure survey prior to attending an in-person event. All volunteers at in-person events will be provided with proper protective equipment to ensure everyone's safety.
Let us know if you have any questions. We are looking forward to having you aboard!
Volunteering is a commitment and our patients rely on our punctual dedication.
