Megan has been a Board member since 2019. In addition to her extensive leadership, volunteer, and research experience within the field of mental health, Megan works as a Therapeutic Assistant at an eating disorder treatment facility for children and adolescents. Her passion for mental health care is motivated by a strong belief in the need for universal availability. Her knowledge brings a unique perspective to the Board, helping guide Railcare as it expands its breadth of services. Megan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from the Gillings School of Public Health at UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Duke. She is currently applying to medical school with the aim of continuing to make mental health care accessible, affordable, and inclusive for all.
