Iris Brammer, Board Member

Iris is currently a medical student at the George Washington University School of Medicine’s M.D. program. Although she currently serves as a board member, her commitment with Railcare began in her undergraduate career at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018. Starting as a privacy officer, Iris eventually served as the CEO of Railcare between 2019 and 2021 before retiring from the position and beginning work as a certified nurse aide. Iris is passionate about community service and the importance of volunteer work in healthcare and strives to continue to serve Railcare to reach more populations in need. She has a strong passion for languages, speaking Chinese, Spanish, and English fluently and hopes to bring diversity and enhance healthcare access around the world as a future medical practitioner.
